Author Terms & Conditions

Clear standards for creating, reviewing, publishing, and earning from EduGyaan articles.

Effective Date: September 1, 2026

These Author Terms and Conditions apply to writers, authors, and administrators who submit or publish educational content through the EduGyaan admin panel. They supplement the general Terms and Conditions.

By accepting an assignment, accessing an author account, submitting an article, or publishing content, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Author Terms.

Engagement

Author work is freelance and project-based unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. It does not create permanent employment, a fixed salary, exclusivity, or a guaranteed number of assignments.

Assignments, deadlines, article length, and output expectations may vary according to subject, complexity, publishing priorities, and the quality of earlier submissions.

Scope of Work

Authors may create NCERT- or CBSE-aligned notes, explanations, summaries, question-answers, grammar content, study guides, and other educational resources assigned or approved by EduGyaan.

Authors must follow the current content structure, formatting instructions, class and subject details, and publishing workflow communicated by EduGyaan.

Originality & AI Use

Submitted explanations, answers, notes, summaries, and supporting material must be original, accurate, and plagiarism-free. Authors must not copy from educational websites, blogs, coaching platforms, videos, transcripts, previously published articles, or another author.

Necessary textbook questions, passages, poems, or reference lines may be reproduced only where appropriate for educational context. The author remains responsible for lawful use and for writing the surrounding explanation originally.

AI tools may assist with research, drafting, or formatting, but raw AI output must not be submitted without meaningful human review. The author remains fully responsible for facts, grammar, originality, formatting, and student-friendly language.

Accuracy & Quality

Content must be clear, grammatically correct, relevant to the assigned topic, properly structured, and appropriate for the stated class level. Special care is required for chapter names, class and subject details, grammar rules, word meanings, question-answers, summaries, and author or poet information.

EduGyaan may request reasonable corrections for factual errors, plagiarism, weak formatting, duplication, incompleteness, or quality concerns. Corrections relating to the original assignment do not create a separate article reward.

Approval & Article Reward

The standard reward is ₹20 for each article that is both published and approved through EduGyaan’s review process. Publication by itself does not guarantee payment.

Draft, unpublished, incomplete, duplicate, rejected, or plagiarised content is not payable. If rejected content is corrected and later approved while published, it becomes eligible for one article reward. An article cannot earn the same reward more than once.

Rewards are credited to the author wallet after approval. Payment depends on actual approved output; no fixed daily, weekly, or monthly income is promised.

Weekly Withdrawals

An author may submit one withdrawal request in each rolling seven-day period. The minimum withdrawal amount and minimum available wallet balance are both ₹700.

The passage of seven days does not create withdrawal eligibility when the available balance is below ₹700. A new request is also unavailable while an earlier request is pending. The next seven-day period is measured from the time the previous withdrawal request was submitted.

Authors must provide accurate UPI or bank details. Payout processing may be delayed or rejected when account information is incomplete, invalid, or requires verification. A rejected request is returned to the wallet, but the original request date continues to determine the next weekly request time.

Publishing Responsibility

When publishing through the EduGyaan admin panel, authors must verify the title, class, subject, chapter, URL, spelling, links, images, formatting, and completeness before submission.

Authors may work only on content assigned to or owned by their account. They must not alter another author’s work, user accounts, permissions, website settings, or technical configuration without specific authorization.

Account Security

Admin credentials are personal and confidential. Authors must not share access, permit another person to publish through their account, access restricted areas, download confidential data, or attempt to bypass platform controls.

Suspicious or unauthorized activity may result in access restriction or immediate suspension while the account is reviewed.

Ownership & Confidentiality

The author grants EduGyaan permission to review, edit, store, and publish submitted content. Once the applicable article reward is credited or otherwise paid, the approved final content and its publication rights belong to EduGyaan, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

The same paid article must not be republished in substantially identical form or supplied to another client without written permission. Internal instructions, unpublished content, credentials, workflow details, SEO guidance, strategy, and payment records must be kept confidential.

Suspension & Termination

Either party may end the freelance arrangement. EduGyaan may suspend or terminate access for plagiarism, intentional misinformation, credential sharing, fraudulent reward activity, repeated quality failures, unauthorized changes, misuse of data, or breach of confidentiality.

Genuine articles approved and published before termination remain payable subject to these terms, wallet records, identity or payout verification, and any lawful deductions or obligations.

Updates to These Terms

EduGyaan may update content, formatting, review, security, payment, or workflow rules when required. Material changes to the reward rate or nature of author work will apply prospectively from the communicated effective date unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.

Law & Contact

These Author Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in India.

Questions about assignments, approval, wallet records, or these terms may be sent to contact@edugyaan.in.
